Pastor Arley Yorty was born in Salem, Ohio. He is a 1982 graduate of Leetonia High School.
It was in Leetonia Ohio where he met his wife Crystal, where they attended school since 5th Grade together. After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy and served 4 years. During this time he married his childhood sweetheart Crystal Whitehead. He then continued serving his country with the United States Naval Reserve until his retirement in January 2003.
From 1986 to present Arley has worked as an Electrical Designer and Engineer in several Military, Commercial and Nuclear Engineering firms in Virginia, Maine and the Pittsburgh area.
It was during these years that Arley and Crystal started a family. They are blessed with two children Arley Joshua and Caleb Luke. Each child is unique and gifted in a variety of areas. In 2009 Arley and Crystal celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on an Alaskan Cruise.
In 1994 Arley was attending a church service in Salem, Ohio and received God’s Call to preach the Gospel and study to fulfill the requirements Church Planting and Revitalization Pastoral Ministries. Arley spent several years in the Nazarene Bible College and finished his Ministerial training with the Alliance in the Ministerial Study Program (MSP) in 2001. During this time Arley ministered in both Maine and Pennsylvania Alliance Churches. In 2004 Arley completed his ordination with the Christian and Missionary Alliance and began his calling as a Church Planter and a Church Revitalization Pastor.
Immediately after his Ordination Arley was given preaching opportunities in local churches from various churches in Pennsylvania. He was given the opportunity to preach at Fellowship Alliance Church. From the time the planning went into the first visit to Elizabeth, Arley knew that he would pastor the Elizabeth Church. This call was confirmed by a call extended from the local church and the Western Pennsylvania District of the C&MA to pastor at Elizabeth.
Pastor Arley is currently working Westinghouse Electrical Company as a Principal Electrical Engineer and pastoring Fellowship Alliance Church. His ministry goals are to work to complete the Great Commission of Jesus Christ found inMatthew 28:19-20 and to lead Fellowship Alliance to be an Acts: 1:8 Missional Church.
