...A letter from the FAC Leadership Team
As you may know Fellowship Alliance Church is in a transition period. After 10 years of faithful service, Pastor Arley Yorty Jr. and his family were called by the Lord to serve elsewhere. Under Pastor Yorty's leadership, FAC has become a "sending" church, being faithful to the call to serve locally, regionally, and globally as demonstrated by Acts 1:8 " But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." As trained, when the Yorty's felt the Lord's call to go, we sent them out to do other great things, fully expecting our God to provide our pastoral needs and also lead the Yortys to their new church family.
The Lord continues to be faithful and generous in His provision for our local part of His body. While He has not yet introduced us to our permanent pastor, the Lord has indeed ensured that pursuit of His great commission has been sustained. As we actively are pursuing pastoral candidates, God continues to support His people and call new believers into the kingdom through lay workers, leaders, and ordained speakers. We know clearly that as 1 Corinthians 3:7 says "...neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow."
FAC is presently being led by the Assistant District Superintendent of the Western Pennsylvania District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Rev. Paul Cope along with support from a team of advisors and disciples who regularly attend FAC.
When you visit you will see that the Word is preached and the Lord is worshipped passionately!
We hope that you join us in pursuit of Christ and perpetuation of His worship!
